In just the first two months of our partnership, two Prosegur security officers, Andre Brickhouse and Sam Oliver, have been honored with the Great Catch Award for their exemplary work and vigilance.

A recent incident in the EMS hallway at Bridgeport Hospital highlighted the exceptional performance of Officers Brickhouse and Oliver. A patient, who required medication intervention for behavioral issues, received assistance from the security team. Throughout the process, the officers treated the patient with utmost respect and support, ensuring a calm environment for both the patient and medical staff.
After the medication was administered, the medical staff resumed their duties, but Officers Brickhouse and Oliver continued to monitor the patient. Moments later, they noticed the patient’s breathing had changed. Acting swiftly, they alerted the medical staff, who determined the patient required immediate medical intervention and moved them to a Trauma room.
Their actions went beyond the call of duty, demonstrating their commitment to the safety and care of everyone in the hospital. By remaining vigilant and proactive, they played a crucial role in ensuring the patient’s well-being.
