Leading the Charge: Prosegur employee's role in advancing national security

Prosegur Security is proud to highlight the exceptional work of Aaron Taylor, Manager of our Virtual Security Operations Center (vSOC), whose dedication and expertise have been instrumental in shaping national security initiatives. Aaron’s participation in a prestigious research team, sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), underscores Prosegur’s commitment to national safety and innovative security solutions.

 

Aaron worked alongside experts from both the private and public sectors as part of the Analytic Exchange Program (AEP), a joint effort that enables collaboration between government analysts and industry professionals. Their research focused on one of today’s most critical challenges: addressing domestic violent extremism, a complex and evolving threat to national security.

 

As part of the AEP, Aaron played a pivotal role in developing the Violent Extremism Conceptual Comparative Tool of Resources (VECCTOR), a decision-making tool designed to help community leaders and law enforcement address and prevent violent extremism. This innovative toolkit allows users to select and implement effective prevention programs tailored to specific community needs, ensuring more strategic and impactful interventions.

 

Aaron’s work on the VECCTOR program went beyond the theoretical; he conducted on-the-ground research and collaborated directly with law enforcement agencies to provide invaluable insights that helped shape the tool’s development. His expertise and dedication were crucial in ensuring that the VECCTOR program could be applied in real-world scenarios to address emerging security threats efficiently and effectively.
